About Us 
This program prepares young children for kindergarten and bright futures through good health, proper growth/development and education.  Services provided include encouraging reading, offering access to a book lending library, working with parents to help preschoolers with age appropriate learning tasks, periodic growth/development screenings and sharing information about community resources.  Home visits include physical, social and developmental assessments, nutrition and dental referrals, as well as monitoring the health of the family.

 Who Can Receive Services
Pregnant mothers with preschoolers age 3 to 5 or a mother of an infant who also has a preschooler age 3 to 5.  The family must currently be receiving Family Case Management services through the Health Department and must live in the Waukegan public school district.
