Representatives from groups throughout Lake County are working together to help seniors prevent that first fall through a falls prevention task force called Best Foot Forward (BFF). A goal of the Health Department is to reduce injury from falls and this page is a location where information and links to resources are provided to help seniors put their best foot forward in their daily lives. Many organizations are focusing on the effort, including the Lake County Health Department/Community Health Center, Rosalind Franklin University, assisted living communities, private and public organizations as well as the following hospitals:
